Nettie May Pickett age 78, of Altus, Oklahoma died November 21, 1965 in Mangum, Oklahoma. She was born May 31, 1887 in Hollyspring, Mississippi to E.E. and Lillie (Smart) McAlexander. Nettie married R.E. Pickett August 6, 1905 and he preceded her in death.
Funeral services for Nettie May Pickett are scheduled for 10:00am Wednesday, November 23, 1965 in Tims Chapel, Altus, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. C.L. Abercrombie. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Nettie May Pickett is survived by two daughters, Miss Erie Puckett, Mangum, Oklahoma; Mrs. Virginia Brown, Oklahoma; two sons, Ceal Puckett, Texas; LeRoy Puckett, Texas; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three sisters, Minnie Landkord, Mangum, Oklahoma; Ivy McCurry, Altus, Oklahoma; Lillie Hill, Lake Mills Wis. two brothers, Clarence McAlexander, Oklahoma, J.D. McAlexander.
