Nettie Bell Seay was born on July 26, 1922 in Headrick, Oklahoma to W.R. and Nettie A. Dennis. She died October 24, 1990 at the Southwestern Medical Center. She was a homemaker and also a member of the First United Church.

Survivors include: her husband, Bernes Seay of the home in Headrick, OK; one daughter, Linda J. Townsend of Clinton, OK; two sons, Ronald D. Seay of Mustang, OK and Manley R. Seay of Tyler, TX; four sisters, Lila Johns of Headrick, Oklahoma, Pearl Jones of Jacksonville, TX, Effie Bridges of Sulphur Springs, TX and Billie Jean Sears of Jacksonville, TX; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: a daughter, Shirlin McClure, in 1975.
