Niome (Mimi) Rideout Lorah was born to Neal and Christine Rideout on June 6, 1981 in Altus, OK. She passed away on Jan 30, 2013 in the town of her birth at the age of 31.
Niome grew up in Buffalo, NY but returned to Altus in her 20"s. Niome had a beautiful soul and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Her greatest joy in life were her family and most especially her children. She LOVED being a wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She always tried to be there for friends and family even in times of trial. She will be forever and ever missed.
Niome married her best friend, true love, and soulmate Joshua Lorah on Nov. 22, 2007. Together they have 4 beautiful children. Daniel Joseph, Lillian Marie, Joshua Layne, and Sophie May.
She was preceded in death by daughter Lillian Marie, grandparents Lucy Strong, Elise Rideout, Nana Ivy and Poppy "Bill" Chronister.
She is survived by her husband and children of the home; her parents Neal Rideout of Rosamond, CA, and Christine Rideout of Spring Hill, FL; two sisters Samantha and husband Christopher Gustin of Mojave, CA, Alexandra Ivy Rideout of Spring Hill, FL; one brother Anthony Rideout of Rosamond, CA. Grandparents Joe Conrad of Altus, OK, William Strong and wife of Mesa, AZ, Marvin Rideout of Culver City, CA; Uncles Monty Strong of AZ, Douglas Carter of AZ, Robert Chronister of Altus, OK, Aunt DeAnna and husband Darrin Hawkey of Altus, OK Her In-Laws Jeff and Tracy Lorah of Altus, OK and many, many cousins, nieces, nephews, a large extended family, and tons of friends who love her and will miss her.
Memorial Services to be held at First United Methodist Church in Altus, OK at 10:00am Saturday February 2nd under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. Services officiated by Rev. David Player.
