Obituary for Noal Bend Buckner
Mr. Noal Bend Buckner, age 52, of 506 Birch, Altus, OK, died on Friday, November 8th, 1968 at the Jackson County Medical Center.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, November 10, 1968 at 2:00 P.M., in the First Baptist Church with the Reverend Tom Spence officiating and assisted by the Reverend Nathan Bussey. Burial will be in the Frederick Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mr. Buckner was a member of the First Baptist Church and had lived in the Altus area since 1945. He had served his country in World War II. He lived in Frederick until 1937. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge. He worked 20 years with the Katy Railroad and was also farming full time since 1955.
He is survived by: his wife of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Norris Fulton of Frederick, OK, Mrs. Mert Ingham of Davidson, OK and Mrs. Boyd Smith of Oklahoma City, OK; three brothers, J.C. Buckner of Tulsa, OK, Howard Buckner of Frederick, OK and Elmo Buckner of El Camino, CA.
One son, Tommy, preceded Mr. Buckner in death in December 23,1965.
