Nola Nell Buchanan age 79 of Altus, Oklahoma passed away at her home October 24, 1966 in Altus, Oklahoma. She was born May 5, 1887 in Corinth, Mississippi to Frank Meadows and Susan (Sawyer) Meadows. She married John Buchanan June 19, 1904 and he preceded her in death February 4, 1948. Mrs. Buchanan had resided in the Altus area since 1916 and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Nola Nell Buchanan are scheduled for October 26, 1966 at the First Baptist Church in Eldorado, Oklahoma at 2:30 pm officiated by Rev. Walter Knox and Rev Forrest Wicks.
Mrs. Buchanan is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ben Cooper, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. Carl Norris, Lubbock, Texas; Mrs. Winford Henson, Morahars, Texas; two sons, Paul Buchanan, Eldorado, Oklahoma; Walter Buchanan, Eldorado, Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren.
