Obituary for Nora Lee Moran
Nora Lee Moran, age 93, of Eldorado, Oklahoma, died Thursday at the English Village Nursing Home.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, at the Eldorado First United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Winston Shaffer assisted by Rev. Mitch Whittington. Burial will follow in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Born May 26, 1899 at Cottondale, Texas, she was the daughter of Walter and Cora Morehead. She married Robert Richard Moran on July 2, 1915 at Coleman, OK. She moved to Eldorado in 1971 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eldorado.
Mrs. Moran will lay in state at Lowell Tims Funeral Home in Altus until Friday evening when she will be moved to the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel in Eldorado.
Survivors include: a brother, Willis Morehead of Altus, OK; a sister, Blanche Clausen of Muskogee, OK; a son-in-law, J.L. Burnett of Eldorado, Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert Richard Moran; a son, J.B. Moran; a daughter, Bertha Burnett.
