Obituary for Norma Gean MCCuistion
Norma McCuistion was born January 16, 1937 in Welty, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Fate and Alta (Pulley) Welch. She died September 25, 2003 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She married Perry McCuistion, November 3, 1955 in Vernon, Texas. She was a long time resident of Altus and Olustee, having moved from Altus to Olustee in 1949. she was a Baptist and he hobbies included crocheting, sewing, and playing bingo. Her family was all important in her life.
Survivors include her husband, Perry McCuistion of Olustee, Oklahoma; three children Ronnie and Denise McCuistion of Altus, Oklahoma, Danny and Liz McCuistion of Altus, Oklahoma, Randy McCuistion of Houston, Texas; five brothers and sisters; Bobby and Darinda Welch of Olustee, Oklahoma, Judy Waller of Olustee, Oklahoma, Virginia and Jack Snyder of Red Water, Texas, Betty Bornheim of McAlister, Oklahoma, Patsy and Thomas Cox of Youkon, Oklahoma; four grandchildren Whitney, Chelsea, Kaden and Jordyn, special nephew Devin Welch.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and sisters, Leona Bennett, Jimmy Welch, Colene Kellogg, and Wanda Rippy.
Services for Norma G. McCuistion are scheduled for 10 am Monday, September 29, 2003 at the Olustee First Baptist Church with Doug Altom officiating. Interment will follow at the Victory Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
