Obituary for Odessa D. Brunson
Odessa D. Brunson age 84. of Altus, Oklahoma died November 12, 1971 at Memorial Hospital in Altus.

Odessa was born February 20, 1887 in Palapinto County, Texas to Charlie Mitchell. She married E. M. Brunson and he preceded her in death in 1965. Odessa was a member of the Grace Methodist Church, Half Century Club and W.S.C. S. She had been a resident of southwest Oklahoma since 1927.

Funeral services for Odessa D. Brunson are scheduled for Sunday, November 14, 1971 at 2:00 pm in the Grace Methodist Church, Altus, officiated by Rev. Ronald Weathers. Burial will follow in the Hess Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Odessa is survived by one son, Charlie of Pampa, Texas; two daughters, Auneta Laird, Olustee, Oklahoma; Ruth Boyles Hess, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.
