Ohmer Norton Barnes was born June 9, 1915 at Bonhon, Texas. He died November 1st, 1992 at Altus, Oklahoma. He married Anna Lou Tarpley October 21, 1933 at Altus, Oklahoma. Ohmer was a concrete foreman before retiring. He traveled with McDonald's Engineering and had worked for the Irrigation District in Altus, Lugert and Jackson County.
Services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Monday, November 2, 1992 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Gerald Biswell officiating. Interment will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: his wife, Anna Lou Barnes of the home in Altus, Oklahoma; one brother, J.N. Glasgow of Wellington, TX; one sister, Oleta Hudgins of Amarillo, TX; a grandson, Larry Bryant of Corpus Christi, TX; step-grandchildren, Kelly Bryant, Lawrence Francis Bryant and Jessica Marie Bryant.
He was preceded in death by: two sons, Ennis Lee Barnes and Donald Ray Barnes; parents, Homer and Lillie Barnes.
