Obituary for Okley Mary Caid
Funeral Services for Okley Mary Caid, age 86, of Altus, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 1992, at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. Bill Osborne will officiate.
Mrs. Caid died at the local hospital November 30th, 1992. She was born in Arkansas on February 7, 1906 to Ernest and Ethel Taylor. She married Edgar Otis Caid, who preceded her in death in 1984. Mrs. Caid graduated High School from Liberty near Granite. She was a member of the Elm & Hudson Church of Christ. She was retired from the dry cleaning business.
Survivors include: a daughter, Norma Massey of Altus, OK; two brothers, Willie Taylor and Ernest Taylor, both of Granite, OK; one sister, Ora Mae Patterson of Norman, OK; three grandchildren, Donna K. Burton of Houston, TX, Glenna Sipult of Wichita, KS and Linda Massey of Houston, TX; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Edgar Otis Caid (1984); her parents; one brother, Willis Taylor; two sisters, Amanda and Blanche.
