Olga Faye Pollard




Olga Faye Pollard, 70, passed away at her home Tuesday, October 17, 1995, following a lengthy illness. Faye was born February 19, 1925, in Blair, Oklahoma to Pat and Nellie ( Marble) Sprabary.
On December 7, 1943, Faye and Earl Pollard were united in marriage in Oklahoma City. When she and Earl married they to Augusta, Georgia where Earl was stationed in the Army until he was sent to Europe. Faye came back to Blair and has lived Jackson County since that time, except about eighteen months while Earl worked for a seismograph team.
Faye became a member and was baptized in the First Baptist Church at Blair at a young age. She later moved her membership to the Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Mrs. Pollard loved life and really enjoyed the camping trips she and Earl took with friends and family. She learned to enjoy fishing and became quiet good at it.
Mrs. pollard was preceded in death by her father; one son, Danny Earl Pollard; and two brothers, Edward Sprabary and Jack Sullivan.
She is survived by her husband, Earl of the home; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Randy Pollard of Roseburg, Oregon, Jerry Pollard of Jonesburg, Mo., and Terry and Paula Pollard of Davis, Oklahoma; her mother, Nellie Marble of Blair, Oklahoma; one brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Marilyn Sullivan of Blair, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mary Brown of Blair, and Dana Tripps of Wichita Falls, Texas; eight grandchildren, Robin Mendoza of Altus, Heather Pollard and Jay Pollard both of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mary Brown of Blair, Oklahoma; and Dana Tripps of Wichita Falls, Texas; eight grandchildren, Robin Mendoza of Altus, Heather Pollard and Jay Pollard, both of Oklahoma City, Christy King of Ft. Worth, Texas, David Pollard of Minnesota, Michael Pollard and Jason Pollard, both of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Jared Pollard of Davis, Oklahoma; and three great-grandsons, Christopher, Tyler and Shane King, all of Ft. Worth, Texas.
