Obituary for Olive L. Elston
Olive L. Elston, age 86, of Walden, New York, passed away Tuesday, January 22nd, 2002 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She was born May 5, 1915 in Marlboro, New York to Author and Emily (Corwin) Gilde.

In 1947 in New York, Olive and Edward Elston were united in marriage. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Olive was a member of the Walden United Methodist Church in Walden, New York.

She is survived by her children, Diane Roe, Carol Mackay, Bill Conn and Elizabeth Swaffar; one sister, Ruth Stureski; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Elston.

Funeral services will be held in Walden, New York. Local arrangements are under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
