Obituary for Omega Reed
Omega Reed age 80, of Altus, Oklahoma died December 24, 1963 at Memorial Hospital in Altus. She was born March 3, 1883 in Weatherford, Texas to J.E. and Della (Burnett) Craig. she married D.O. Reid, he preceded her in death November 14, 1955. She had been a resident of Jackson County since 1891.
Funeral services for Omega Reed are scheduled for December 26, 1963 at 2:00pm in Tims Chapel officiated by Rev. Arvil Booker and Rev. Gene Garrison. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tins Funeral Home.
Omega Reid is survived by two sons, Craig Reed, Wichita Falls, Texas; Erley Hunter; fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great grand children; two sisters, Mrs Henry Cavlnor, Slater, Texas; Mrs. R.O. Cunningham; McLean, Texas; other survivors include, Mrs. Paul Trrin, Maryvelle Tennessee; Mrs. Cletus H. Overtone, Pasadena, California; Mrs. Joe Baker, Vernon, Texas; Mrs. Leslie W. Contuay, Lawton, Oklahoma; Mrs. Ed. Leigh-Kendall, Alaska; Mrs. James Savage, Blair, Oklahoma; Mrs. A. O. Savage, Dallas, Texas; Mrs. Loree Mc Spadden, Altus, Oklahoma.
