She married Walter Weems February 10, 1921 in Fletcher, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for the past fifteen years.
Funeral services for Opal Elizabeth Weems are scheduled for 10:00am Friday July 31 in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Dr. M.L. Sims, Oklahoma City. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Opal Elizabeth Weems is survived by her husband, Walter of the home in Oklahoma City; three sons William A. Weems, Oklahoma City; Jack Weems, Oklahoma City; Gil Edward Weems, Oklahoma; one daughter, Mrs. Charles M. Oliver, Santa Barbara, California; five grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Oran Weems, Olustee, Oklahoma; Mrs. James Boren, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother, J.W. Hamilton, Childress, Texas.
