Obituary for Opal Emeline Knapp
Graveside Services are scheduled for Opal Emeline Knapp, age 85, of Altus, Oklahoma who passed away Sunday, January 4th, 1998 in the Altus House Nursing Home.

She was born August 22nd, 1912 at Frederick, Oklahoma to the late W.A. and Susie (Norwood) McAfee. Opal began a career in the nursing field at Jackson County Memorial Hospital and at the Frederick Hospital for many years.

She and Williamer L. Knapp were united in marriage, and he preceded her in death.

Opal was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.

Graveside Services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 6th, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery with Rev. C.W. Parker officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

Survivors include: two cousins, John McAfee, Jr. and Eleanor Grace Martin both of Arlington, TX; two very dear and special friends, Bobby and Donna Charles of Altus, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William L. Knapp.
