Opal Irene Carney was born November 12, 1911 in Jackson County, Oklahoma. She died June 13, 1991 at Midwest City Regional Hospital. She married Fred Ergene Carney November 17, 1929 and he preceded her in death October 17, 1984. she was a long time resident of Tipton. She was an active member of the Tipton Church of Christ and a member of the Eastern Star.

Services are scheduled for 10:30 A.M. Saturday June 15, 1991 at the Tipton Church of Christ with Harry Riggs officiating. Interment will be in the Tipton Cemetery. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

Mrs Carney is survived by a cousin Juana Hipkins of Joliet, Illinois; aunt Effie Baker of Belle Mo.; cousin, Dr. M.C. Wagon of Midwest City, Oklahoma; cousin, Mike Sherman of Elk City, Oklahoma; cousin, Karen Sherman of Norman, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Carney was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Eugene Carney, October 17, 1984.
