Obituary for Opal Olene Kingery
Mrs. Opal Kingery, age 76, lifetime resident of the Eldorado area, died Sunday afternoon at the Quanah, Texas Hospital, following a stroke.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday at Corinth Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend Gene Otwell. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born February 12th, 1901 at Sanger, TX, she came with her parents Royal and Millie Springs to the Eldorado community at the age of one-year-old and had lived there since.
She was married in 1936 at Mangum to Mr. Olen Kingery who survives of the home. She was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include: two sons, LaBoyd Searcey of Norman, OK and Lloyd Wayne Searcey of Clinton, OK; one daughter, Olene Coberly of Eldorado; one brother, Mr. Ted Springs of Eldorado; three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Gregory of Meadow, Texas, Mrs. Millie Coffelt of Kansas City, MO and Mrs. Jewel Amott of Kansas City, KS; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren;
two daughters, Jerry June Kingery and Neta Jean Toma preceded her in death.
Mrs. Kingery will lie in state in Eldorado at Lowell-Richardson Funeral Chapel.
