Opal Wilma Thomason


Opal Wilma Thomason was born August 22, 1912 at Eldorado, Oklahoma. she died June 11, 1993 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She married Eber Thomason December 23, 1933 at Eldorado, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death in 1988.

She owned and operated a hardware company in Bethany with her husband for over 30 years. She then moved to Plainview, Texas where she resided for over 10 years before moving back to Altus in December 1992.

She was a member of the Nazarene Church. Services are scheduled for 1:00pm Sunday at the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Rev. Dave Bucher officiating. Interment will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Mrs. Thomason is survived by her sister Ruby Crume of Plainview, Texas; a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Thomason is preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Minnie Moyers; brother, Grady Moyers; sister, Velma Brewer.
