Orin Travis McGee, 92, of Hollis, Oklahoma passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 in Hollis, Oklahoma.
Travis was born January 13, 1922 to O.B. and Ollie (Robinson) McGee in Hollis, Oklahoma. He graduated from LaCasa High School in 1940. He married Johnnie Bob Rollins on July 4, 1941 in Hollis, Oklahoma. He attended Cameron College for two years. Travis was a carpenter for most of his life. He was a member of the Church of Christ and served as an elder for many years.
Travis is survived by his wife of seventy-three years, Johnnie McGee of Hollis, Oklahoma; three children, Terri Orr and husband Jerry of Milsap, Texas, Tommy McGee and wife Sandra of Moore, Oklahoma, and Timmy McGee and wife Sherrill of Fairview, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one brother, Glenneth McGee and wife Claudine of Hollis, Oklahoma; one sister, Irene Cummins of Hollis, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his parents, O.B. and Ollie McGee; brothers, Blant, Blair, and Kenneth; and sisters, Pauline Trammell and Louise Garton.
Funeral Service for Travis McGee will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Harmon County Funeral Home Chapel in Hollis, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis, Oklahoma under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home of Hollis.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church of Christ in Hollis, Oklahoma or to the Colonial Manor II nursing home in Hollis, Oklahoma.
