Orville John Rippetoe, age 76, of Altus, passed away March 30, 1982, in Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Orville John was born May 8, 1905, in Hollis, Oklahoma to John Rippetoe. He married Fairy Carolyine April 21, 1963. Orville had been a resident of Altus, Oklahoma since 1969. He was a WOW member.
Funeral services for Orville John Rippetoe are scheduled for Thursday., April 1, 1982, at 2 PM in the Tims Chapel of Memories, Altus, officiated by Rev. Keith Wiginton. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Orville is survived by his wife Fairy Carolyine of the home; two sons, Don Rippetoe, of Blachard, Oklahoma; Jerry Rippetoe, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Glenda Briscoe, Pampa, Texas one step son Paul Long, Altus, Oklahoma; three brothers, Milton Rippetoe, Hollis, Oklahoma; Galen rippetoe, Hollis, Willard Rippetoe, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three sisters, Gladay Tremmal, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Una Way, California, Sybil of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
