Oscar Lopez Toledo, 63, Altus, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Oscar was born on May 3, 1960 in Villa Flores, Chiapas, Mexico to Candelario Toledo and Donaciana Mendez. He grew up in Mexico and later on moved to Texas in 1981. Oscar married Flavia Jimenez in 1987. Oscar worked as a ranch hand for 24 years before moving the family to Altus in 2005. Oscar loved being around his family, especially his grandchildren. He cherished the times spent outdoors with them, teaching them how to hunt and fish. Oscar was a very loving and supportive father
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and three brothers, Rodrigo Toledo, Adolfo Toledo, and Deudiel Toledo.
Survivors include his children, Oscar Lopez, Jr. and wife, Tiffany, Jessica Lopez Judd and husband, Tim, Daniel A. Lopez, Laura Lopez, Fernando Lopez, and Leticia Allen and husband, Sean; a brother-in-law he raised, Jesus Jimenez; his grandchildren, Kyle M. Lopez, Isabella Lopez, Oscar A. Lopez, III, Antonella Lopez, Eliana Jane Judd, Lia Yareli Lopez, Fernando D. Montejo, Geronimo Garza, Anna Garza, Julissa Ybarra, Francis Sandoval, Julian Lopez, Alan Lopez, and Layana Allen; four brothers, Enoch Toledo and wife, Olga Rodas, Noé Toledo, Rogelio Toledo, and Abel Toledo; three sisters, Auria Toledo, Candelaria Toledo, and Silvina Toledo; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the Lowell–Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Alex Casias officiating. Services are under the care of the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory.
