Obituary for Owen A. Amdall
Mr. Owen A. Amdall, age 81, died Saturday morning at Jackson County Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Amdall is the father of Mrs. Lonzo Battles, Reverend Battles being the pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Altus. A long time resident of Caddo County, Mr. & Mrs. Amdall had been living in Altus the past several months.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday at the United Methodist Church in Carnegie. Burial will be in the Carnegie Cemetery under direction of Pitcher Funeral Home of Carnegie. Local arrangements are with Lowell Funeral Home.

Survivors include: his wife, Anna of the home in Altus; one daughter, Mrs. Lonzo Battles of Altus;
one son, Colonel (Dr.) Robert Amdall, on active duty with the Air Force; four brothers; three sisters; ten grandchildren.
