Obituary for Patrick Wolfgang Becker
Patrick Becker, “Bud” 43, Altus, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday July 1,2021 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was born February 26, 1978 to Wolfgang and Annemarie Becker in Wiesbaden, Germany. His father had many assignments through his military career and Patrick grew up in various states, eventually graduating high school in Altus, Oklahoma. Following graduation he was a short order cook at Denny’s. Through his journey in life he also worked at Wal-Mart, and Family Dollar Distribution Center, he also worked as a guard at the rank of Captain for Altus Air Force Base. He helped local farmers, was a welder at American Gypsum. At an early age, Patrick loved the great outdoors. He mentioned many times how curious he was about the world around him. Patrick was drawn to learning as much as he could, which would be reflected later in his life with his three boys. He also enjoyed BMX racing as a teenager and was featured on the cover of BMX magazine. Into his adulthood he found two passions that would never leave his life. Storm chasing for photography, and a personal interest in BNSF Railroad, Patrick also liked to fish and hunt. Patrick was very family oriented especially on Sundays everybody had to be home by six for supper and everybody was sure to get what they wanted to eat. Patrick enjoyed talking, he did all he could for the people he encountered, and you better be ready to grab a seat. He always had a story to tell, or was ready to cut up with a good joke, and he had a unique personality.
Survivors include three sons Christopher Becker of Lawton, Matthew Becker of Altus, Patrick Becker of Lawton a former wife of twenty years Paula Marie Becker of Lawton. His mother Annemarie Becker of Altus, a brother Michael Becker and his wife Katherine Becker of Graham, Texas their children Kalleigh and Zeegan.
He was preceded in death by his father Wolfgang (Bob) Becker.
Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home Chapel, Altus, Oklahoma.
