Patsy June Dees, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, at the age of 84. Born in Waurika, Oklahoma, to Fred D. Harrison and Maggie Elizabeth Young Harrison, she was the youngest of six children, raised with deep-rooted family values and an unyielding spirit in Burkburnett, Texas.
She will be remembered for her fiery spirit and strength. Always proving that love and resilience can overcome life's challenges. She was the heart of her family, the keeper of secrets and the one who made her granddaughters feel like they were special. She cherished her great-grandkids, and family time. She loved giving to others when she could. She was always busy with her cooking, planting flowers, playing cards and dominoes, oh, and let's not forget she never minded a shopping trip.Patsy is preceded by her parents; her five siblings; her first husband Dudley; her beloved sons Ervin "Red" Teeter and William "Billy" Dees III; and her second husband, William "Bill" Dees, Jr.
Left to carry on her legacy include her daughter, Pamela and husband Dale Paul; her granddaughters Patty Dees and Wade Collier and Crystal Harrison and husband Daniel; her great-grandchildren, Jacob White and wife Lauren and Leah Harrison; her great-great-grandchildren Collyns and Clayton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Last but not least, her loyal fur baby Sammy, who she loved dearly!
Graveside services will be held at Hastings Cemetery in Hastings, Oklahoma on May 23, 2025, under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory in Altus, Oklahoma.
