Obituary for Paul Buchanan
Paul Buchanan, long time resident of Eldorado passed away Sunday afternoon at the age of 79 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Born August 15th, 1907 at Van Alstyne, TX. He was the son of Joe and Nola Buchanan. The family moved to the Eldorado community in 1916 where he attended Midway School. He married Mayme Ruth Norris on August 17, 1939 in Eldorado. Services have been set for Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Eldorado with the reverend Kenneth Coleman officiating. A service will be held the following day at the Missionary Baptist Church in Avery, TX at 2:30 p.m. with interment in Avery Cemetery. Arangements are with the Lowell Funeral Home.

Survivors include: his wife, Mayme Buchanan of the home; two sons, Eddie Wayne Buchanan of Seven Oaks, TX and Herbert Leroy Buchanan of Avery, TX; one daughter, Mary Kay Graves of Chapman, KS; two sisters, Mildred Walker of Pauls Valley, OK and Irene Norris of Altus; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
