Obituary for Paul Renodo Epperson
Paul "Boo" Renodo Epperson Sr., 52, longtime resident of Mangum, Oklahoma passed away May 19, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Paul was born December 19th, 1966 in Mangum, Oklahoma to Paul Norris and Effie Epperson. He was raised and educated in Mangum, Oklahoma. Paul graduated high school in 1985 from Mangum High School. In August of 1990 he joined the Army National Guard and proudly served until August 2008. Paul working at Republic Gypsum, Grace Living Center and the City of Mangum. He attended St. John Zion Church in Mangum. He loved barbecue, fishing, hunting, hanging out with friends and family, but most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother; Effie Lee Epperson.
Paul is survived by his Son, Paul R. Epperson, Jr. and his wife Madison of Mangum, Oklahoma; his two daughters; Sharrie Smith of Lawton, Oklahoma, Jahnee Smith of Lawton, Oklahoma; his father; Paul R. Norris, of Hobart, Oklahoma; two sisters; Sherry Epperson os Lawton, Oklahoma, Trina Epperson of Lawton, Oklahoma; five grandchildren Chevy Epperson, Daiviana Jarvis-Carter, Vernique Jarvis-Carter, Quyntynn Jarvis-Carter and Legend Eli Smith.
The Epperson family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Greer Funeral Home, Mangum, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Living Water United Pentecostal Church, Mangum, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma.
