THOMPSON


Paul William (Bill) Thompson, Jr., age 70, of Altus, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013, at his home, in Altus. He was born September 17, 1942 in Oklahoma City. He graduated from Capitol Hill High School.

Bill has resided in Altus for the last 20 years. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a maintenance man for Harold Hickerson.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lou Ella (Davis) Thompson; a sister, Betty Ann Davis, and brothers, Robert Allen (Bob) Thompson and Glenn Sutherlin. He was also preceded in death by his cousin, Katherine Hickerson.

Bill enjoyed visiting with people and spending time with his many friends. He had an avid interest in hot rods and fast cars. He always looked forward to the Rock and Rumble in Altus each year.

Bill will be missed by his family and friends. His family will have a private memorial at a later date.
