Obituary for Pauline Lillian Cook
Pauline Lillian Cook, age 71, passed away Thursday, February 4th, 1988, night at the Elk View Hospital in Hobart. Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Warren Baptist Church with The Reverend Arol Steverson officiating. The Reverend C. W. Ramsey will assist. Burial will be in the Warren Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born January 19th, 1917 at Katy, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Jessie and Lola Warren. Until her retirement in 1985 she worked in skilled nursing. She had lived in the Warren area most of her life, however, at her death she was living in Hobart.
Survivors include: two children, James W. (Sam) Cook of Granite, OK and Delores Gilchrist of Ft. Worth, TX; one sister, Lorene Wright of Warren, OK; three half-sisters, Earlene Woodruff of Canton, TX, Elsie Smith of Athens, TX and Betrty Tidmore of Murchison, TX; one half-brother, J.T. Warren of Lone Oak, TX; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: a brother, Ben Warren and a sister, Opal Jackson.
