Obituary for Pearl Simpson Sloan
Pearl Simpson Sloan was born on December 31, 1886 at Harold, Texas in Wilbarger County. She died on Friday, November 9, 1990 at the English Village Nursing Home.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to James Sloan on November 11, 1909 and he preceded her in death on March 15, 1958. She was also preceded in death by a son, Clayton Sloan in 1938.
Survivors include: a granddaughter, Helen Clay Peyton of Oklahoma City, OK; a grandson, Douglas Sloan of Amarillo, TX; four great-grandchildren, Jimmy Jack Sloan of Amarillo, TX, Pamela Smith and Paula Pickett of Altus, Oklahoma and Perry Peyton of Oklahoma City, OK; five great-great-grandchildren, Cristy, Eddie, Jessica, Desirae and Kelcy; daughter-in-law and husband, Evie Sloan Clinkscales and husband Bob of Altus, Oklahoma.
Services will be held at the Tims Chapel of Memories at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 1990. S.F. Tims will officiate. Interment will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
