Pedro Ortega, age 50, from Duke, Oklahoma, passed away in Pierce, Colorado, on July 2, 1967. He was a resident of Duke, Oklahoma. He worked as a farm laborer for Mr. Kerr. He was born on January 16, 1911 to Eugenio Ortega and Apolinario Sanchez.

Survivors include his wife, Christine of the home and five daughters of the home. They are Gracie, Hirma, & Rachel. Other surviving sisters include Ophelia Perez, Tipton, Oklahoma and Mrs. Ida Rodriguez. One surviving son is Bujeno Ortega. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Ortega will be at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, July 6, 1967, at 10:00
AM under the direction of Tims Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Altus City Cemetery.
