Obituary for Peggy Ann Easley
Peggy Ann Easley, age 55, of Granite, passed away Saturday afternoon, January 1, 2011, at St. Anthony"s Hospital, in Oklahoma City.

Peggy was born on August 23, 1955, to James Kenneth and Euva May (Cooper) Fanning, in Portales, New Mexico. Moving to Levelland, Texas, at a young age, she later graduated from Levelland High School and married Howard Easley, Jr., on September 2, 1984, in Willow. After graduating from Sayre Junior College, she served as a medical laboratory technologist for sixteen years at several different locations. In 2000, Peggy retired due to her medical conditions and moved back to Granite in 2005, where she lived until her death. An avid reader, Peggy loved collecting frogs and playing Bingo.

Preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James Fanning and one sister, Susan Fanning she is survived by her husband, Howard Easley, Jr., of the home, in Granite, five children, Howard Easley III and wife Meagan of Granite, David Easley and wife Lacy of Carthage, Missouri, Cassie Easley of Granite, Kileagh Easley of Granite and Keeana Easley of Granite; one brother, Steven Fanning of Chicago, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Hannah Easley, Makayla Lemons, Isaac Russell, Justiss Easley, Makayla Easley, Rayden Easley and Little David Easley along with many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Peggy Ann Easley will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2011, at the Granite Church of Christ with Ken Hamilton officiating.
