Phyllis Marie Davitt, age 65, passed away at her home in Granite on Wednesday, December 15, 2004. Phyllis was born March 23, 1939 in Granite to Ralph and Ruby Spraklin Roberts. She married Michael Davitt in Vernon, Texas on August 3, 1978. Phyllis was a loving wife and mother who lived in several locations during Michael's U.S. Air Force career.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her grandparents and father Ralph Roberts. She is survived by her husband, Michael, of the home in Granite; her mother Ruby Kennedy of Mangum, Oklahoma; one daughter, Kathy Applewhaite and husband Errol of San Antonio, Texas; one son, Joseph Willis and wife Maria of Tacoma, Washington; a sister, Loretta Livingston and husband Charles and children of Granite, Oklahoma; two brothers, Raymond Roberts and Paul Roberts; five grandchildren, Cindy Ortiz and husband Scott, Jesus Salazar, Marisol Gomez, Erick Salazar and Ashley Applewhaite; four great-grandchildren, Preston Sawyer, Emilia Gomez, Adrian Gomez, and Leslie Salazar along with many other friends and relatives.
