Obituary for Ralph Massey
Ralph Massey, age 87 of Altus, Oklahoma passed away Friday, February 14, 1997 at the Norman Manor Nursing Home at Norman, Oklahoma. Ralph was born November 17, 1909 at Duke, Oklahoma to the late Hugh Walter and Janie Massey. Ralph and Katie Mae (Hampton) Tucker were united in marriage February 12, 1966, she preceded him in death on April 2, 1996. Mr. Massey served in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1945. After separation from the United States Navy, Mr. Massey worked many years for Winkler Appliance Store. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Graveside services are scheduled for Monday, February 17, 1997 at 2:00pm at Restlawn Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors are his children; Barbara Jones and Roy of Moore, Oklahoma; Cleber Massey and Patricia of Abilene, Texas; sister Leta Jo Burden of Graham, Texas; grandchildren Renee Shirley, Cheryl Woosley, David Jones, Susan Loverin, Jay Fraley, Kirk Massey, Kim Bishop; 16 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
