Obituary for Ray B'nard Junell
Mr. Ray B'nard Junell, age 63, of 700 Chris, died Saturday morning at Jackson County Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Monday afternoon at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Reverend Carl McCoy. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born November 20th, 1915 in Edgewood, TX, he was married in 1949 to the former Opal Warren McDowell. She died in December 1977. He owned and operated a sheet metal business in Altus until illness forced retirement.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Anita Hobbs of Amarillo, TX; three sons, Johnnie McDowell of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Monty McDowell of Amarillo, TX and Donnie McDowell of Oklahoma City; his Mother, Mrs. Rosa Junell of Amarillo, TX; two brothers, J. L. and Wm. T. Junell of Amarillo, TX; two sisters, Ruby Snider and Pauline Burke, both of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
