Obituary for Raymond Clarence Spear Jr.
Mr. R.C. Spear, a life long resident and businessman of Altus, died at Jackson County Memorial
Hospital last Sunday night.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in Lowell's Memorial Chapel. Services will be officiated by Bill Osborne of the Elm & Hudson Church of Christ.

Born May 24th, 1923 in Altus, he was a second generation grocer and had extensive investments in local real estate. He was a Veteran of WWII and Korea.

Survivors include: one daughter, Pansy Spear of Altus; two sons, Steven Spear of Stillwater, OK and Richard Spear of Corsicana, TX; one sister, Lynn Conner of Marina Del Rey, CA; one granddaughter and one grandson.

Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
