Raymond Lee Williams, 87, resident of Mangum, Oklahoma passed away on March 5, 2023 in Mangum, surrounded by his family. Raymond was born on June 19, 1935, in Mangum, Oklahoma to Ollie Cleaburn Williams and Cora Belle (Reeser) Williams. Raymond graduated from Centralview in 1955. He married the love of his life, Lillia White, on July 6, 1967. Raymond worked for the Texico Service Station, worked for the Creamery in Mangum, then transferred to milk deliveries. He even worked for the Craterville Park at Lugert operating the rides. He worked six years for Francis Riley during Wheat harvest, ten years for Earl Warner Auctioneer, and then worked for the City of Mangum, running the power plant where he retired after twenty-four years. Raymond enjoyed his walks but most of all going to the coffee shop visiting with his friends, he loved playing dominos, watching CMT, Hee-Haw, and the Lawrence Welk Show, and driving around on the backroads.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents; Daughter, Donna Kay Williams; Brothers, Melvin Williams, Archie Williams, Cleo Williams, Clyde Williams, Kenneth Williams; Sisters, Mary Joe Taylor and Irene Reagan.
Left to honor his memory is his loving wife, Lillia; Sons, Danny Ray Williams and wife Amanda of Hammon, Oklahoma, Homer Dobbs of Mangum, Oklahoma, and Joe Dobbs and wife Louanne of Vernon, Texas; Daughter, Diania Kendall and husband Stan of Mangum, Oklahoma; Sisters, Stella Uptergrove of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Bertha Cooley and husband Preston of Dale, Oklahoma; Grandkids, Crystal Williams of Hammon, Oklahoma, Brandon Williams of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Abigail Thomas of Merritt, Oklahoma, Tanner Dobbs and wife Alicia of Vernon, Texas, Whitney Dobbs of Vernon Texas, Jennifer Newcomb and husband Darren of Owasso, Oklahoma, Justin Brunson and wife Angela of Mangum, Oklahoma, Cristine Shandy and husband Jason of Mangum, Stanley Kendall and wife Andrea of Woodland Park, Colorado, Kyle Kendall of Blair, Oklahoma and Kellie Michael Kendall of Norman, Oklahoma; Great Grandkids, Kenzie, Bentley and Katie Dobbs of Vernon, Texas, Shane, Dawson, and Ariel Newcomb of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Aubrey Brunson of Mangum, Oklahoma. A host of so many more Great Grandkids, extended family members and friends, and special friend Kenneth Burkhalter.
