Obituary for Regina C. Laramie
Regina C. Laramie of Headrick, Oklahoma passed away at age 57 on August 21, 2021.
Regina was born on August 12, 1964, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to parents Curtis Coleman and Elizabeth Stevens Coleman. She grew up in Bluefield, West Virginia and was a member of the graduating class of 1982 at Bluefield High School.
Regina immediately joined the United States Air Force after graduation and served as a telephone operator at Robbins Air Force Base in Georgia. She also worked as a cashier and switchboard operator. During her 9-year military career, which lasted from 1982-1992, Regina was deployed during the first Gulf war and had duty stations at England; Barksdale AFB in Bossier Parrish, Louisiana; and McGuire AFB in New Jersey.
On September 20, 1987, Regina married Christopher Leon Laramie Sr. in Warner Robbins, Georgia. They enjoyed 33 blissful years together and were blessed with three beautiful children.
Regina loved her family and everyone around her. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, working with ceramics, making pottery, and going fishing. Her kindness and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Regina was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Stevens Coleman.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher Laramie Sr; her father, Curtis Coleman; two sons: Jason Laramie and his wife, Brandy; and Christopher Laramie Jr; one daughter: Lacey Lisle and husband, Andy; one brother: Steven Coleman; three sisters: Melinda, Patricia, and Donna; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday August 31, 2021 at the Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell - Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
