BENEFIELD
Professor Richard G. Benefield, SR., 75 years old, passed away Wednesday March 3, 2010. Richard was a resident of Anadarko for over 30 years. He was a spiritual man, loving husband and father and strong promoter of education who will be greatly missed by his loved ones. He is survived by wife, Alma June Benefield; children, Debbie Pittman, Richard G. Benefield Jr and Ginger Gonzalez; son-in-laws Paul Pittman, Luis Gonzalez and daughter-in-law, Laurie Benefield. His grandchildren are Brandon Williams, Brandi Pittman, Jadzia Pittman, Kaitlin Benefield, Megan Benefield, Crystal Benefield and Danielle Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doc Alexander and Maggie Benefield.
His viewing will be held Monday March 8, 2010 at Greer Funeral home located at 235 South Pennsylvania Avenue Mangum, OK 73554. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 8, 2009, at the Martha, OK cemetery. More information can be found about Richard G. Benefield on his website at:
