Riley Fermon Sisk, 75, passed away Sunday, January 29, 1995 in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Riley was born August 11, 1919 in Burkburnett, Texas to Henry and Nancy Sisk. He married Monnie Mae Wallace on September 1, 1940. they moved to Oklahoma as a young couple.
Mr. Sisk was a member of the American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans and the Tabernacle Baptist Church. He was a retired plumber who had serviced the Altus area for many, many years. Riley was a very special individual and everyone who knew him loved him dearly. He was known as Pappy by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Riley was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Monnie; one brother, Mack; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Donna Sisk of Altus; two daughters and son-in-laws, Jane and Charles Camp and Ann and Bill Akins, all of Altus; four brothers, L.W., Burton, Gary and Roger, all of California; four sisters, Agnes of California, Odessa of Texas; Inez of Louisianna; and Rae of Nevada; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
