Obituary for Robert Francis Shive
Robert Francis Shive, 88, of Altus, passed away at Jackson County Memorial Hospital on January 2, 1982. He was born May 26, 1893 at Branham, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. William Shive. He married Mattie Ray in Altus in 1922, and they lived in Altus most of their lives. They attended the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Altus. They had two children.
Survivors include his wife, Mattie of the home; one son, Bobby Wayne Shive, Lake Jackson, Texas; and one daughter Mrs. Nadina Mean, Dayson, Arizona; four grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and one sister, Ella Bean, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Services will be held at Tims Funeral on January 4, 1982 , officiated by Reverend Hoyett Lemon. .Burial will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home,
Altus.
