Obituary for Robert Lee Bateman
Robert Lee Bateman, age 88 of Eldorado, passed away August 5, 2001. Services are set for Wednesday, 11:00 am at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel in Altus with Bill Osborne officiating. Interment will follow in Kernville, California.

Robert was born April 3, 1913 at Texarkana, Arkansas to parents George and Mattie Bateman. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was proud of his service. Robert lived in California , until 1979, when he moed to the Eldorado area. He was narrued September 10, 1980 at Tulsa Oklahoma to Marguerite Scott. They enjoyed many years together. Robert loved life and had many family and friends. He is survived by wife, Marguerite of Eldorado; daughters, Zelma Bundy of Morro Bay California and Vicki Gann of Tucson, Arizona; son Robert Lynn Bateman of Bakersfield, California; sister, Beatrice Eby of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
