Obituary for Robert Wayne Adams
Robert Adams, 31, resident of Altus, Oklahoma was tragically taken from us on Easter morning, April 4, 2021.
Robert “Robbie” Wayne Adams, 31, passed away on April 4, 2021, in Altus, OK. He was born on May 11, 1989, in Oklahoma City, OK to Brandy Christine Adams and Chance Wayne Knight.
Robert acquired his GED and had taken several vocational classes. He was a sweet and loving child and that did not change in his adult life. He loved helping people and especially giving them gifts. He loved the beach, going fishing and all animals, but especially loved lightning bugs!
Robert had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that was contagious. He just had a way of connecting with people. He was also very smart and quite the handyman and if he did not know how to do something, he would figure it out-google and YouTube!
Robert attended The Door Church where he had been a part of the Maintenance Team Ministry. He will be terribly missed by his family and church family. Robert left an imprint in the world that no one will forget.
Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clara Pais, James Knight, and Richard Adams. He is survived by his parents, Brandy Adams of Snyder, OK, and Chance Knight of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Ricky and Blake Adams both of Altus; and his grandmother, Barbara Adams of Altus, as well as a host of aunts and uncles: Sheila Waller (Mark); Tammi Knight-Hutcher (Eddie) all of Oklahoma City; Sherrie Adams, Trina Adams and Faith Lana (Scott) all of Altus; Sue Morris (Tim) of Hedrick, along with many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, April 9, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home, Altus, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 10, 2021, at The Door Church in Altus, Oklahoma with an interment to follow at Mountain Park Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Lowell - Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma
