Obituary for Robin Kay Triplett
Robin Kay Triplett, a cherished member of the Hollis, Oklahoma community, at the age of 64 passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2024, at Harmon Memorial Hospital. Born on October 24, 1959, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to William Kent Chase and Carla Mae (Wyatt) Chase, she was raised and educated in Marshall, Arkansas. Robin graduated from Marshall High School in 1978 and pursued her passion for hospitality at the College of the Ozarks.
As a devoted farmer's wife, she played an integral role in the family dairy farm before moving to Hollis, Oklahoma, with her two sons, Barrett and Benjamin, in 2002. Robin's compassionate nature led her to Colonial Manor, where she found her calling as a certified nurse's aide. Her dedication to her residents was unparalleled as she always ensured they received the utmost care and support; often staying by their side through the night to offer comfort and solace in their final moments.
In her leisure time, Robin found joy in homesteading, cultivating a garden oasis and nurturing a variety of animals, from rabbits and cats to geese and chickens. Her creativity knew no bounds, as she indulged in crafting, sewing exquisite dresses sought after across Harmon County, and mastering the art of canning fruits, vegetables, and meats.
On March 6, 2004, Robin married her beloved Larry Triplett in Eldorado, Oklahoma, blending their families with love and grace. She cherished every moment spent with Larry's children as her own, and her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, bringing endless joy and laughter into her life. Robin was a Christian who believed in Jesus Christ; she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Damascus, Arkansas.
Robin's unwavering love for her family, her compassionate spirit, and her profound connection with nature will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and resilience that will continue to inspire for generations to come.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents, William Kenneth Chase and Carla Mae (Wyatt) Chase; her brothers, Toby Chase and Monte Chase; and a grandson, Adam Buck.
Left to honor Robin's memory are her husband of twenty years, Larry Triplett; sons, Barrett and Andrea Buck, Benjamin Buck and wife Tiffany; daughters, Tara Triplett, Amanda Newton and husband Michael; brother, Perry Chase and wife Helen; sisters, Carla Sue Williamson, Peggy Spurlock, Billie Walters and husband Kenny.
