Obituary for Roland Lee Seaman
Mr. Roland Lee Seaman, age 96, of 719 N. 36th St., Lawton, died Wednesday at the Cotton Nursing Home in Lawton.

Funeral services have been set for Friday, 10:00 A.M., at the First Baptist Church in Snyder, officiated by the Reverend Stoneman. Masonic graveside rites will be in Roosevelt Cemetery by the Masonic Lodge of Snyder. Burial will be in Roosevelt Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born October 4, 1883 in Linn County, MO, he came to Okmulgee in 1915 where he installed commercial business subjects at Okmulgee High School. He was a secretary of the Oklahoma Highway Commission from 1927 thru 1931 and from that date to 1962 worked for the State Examiners and Inspectors Office as a state examiner while living in Snyder. He later, upon retirement, moved to Lawton.

Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Gene (Marilee Jean) Morgan of Lawton; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
