Obituary for Ronnie Jay Roe
Ronnie J. Roe, a long-time resident of Eldorado, Oklahoma, journeyed to his
eternal rest on May 25, 2024, at Saint Anthony's Medical Center in Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma. Born on December 30, 1965, in Quanah, Texas, Ronnie's roots were firmly planted in Eldorado, where he was nurtured and educated. His career in the agriculture industry began humbly, starting as a farm hand before evolving into a dedicated custom crop harvester across southwest Oklahoma. Ronnie's commitment to his craft earned him respect far and wide. Beyond the fields, Ronnie found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. His days were enriched by the company of cherished friends and family, often spent fishing, swimming, or swaying to the tunes of old country melodies. His love for artists like Conway Twitty, Jason Aldean, Doug Spindle, and George Strait reflected his deep-seated passion for the genre. In his later years, Ronnie discovered a profound peace through his faith in Jesus Christ, a source of comfort and solace that enriched his life.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, CJ and Janice Roe, and his
brother, Randy Roe.
Left to honor Ronnie's enduring legacy are his daughters, Brooke Roe and
Brianna Bella of Altus, Oklahoma, his brothers, Ricky Roe of Wichita Falls,
Texas, and Jimmy Roe and his wife Victoria Cleveland of Altus, Oklahoma, his
sisters Carla Coker and her husband Allen of Elmer, Oklahoma, Sheila Reeves
and her husband Douane of Quanah, Texas, and May and her husband Joe of
Altus, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his grandchildren Zaydon Callins of
Altus and Oakland McKenzie of Altus, Oklahoma, along with his aunt, Wanda
Richardson, nieces, Tracy and Craig McDaniel of Vernon, Texas, Angela and
Trevin Gillum of Eldorado, Oklahoma, and his uncle, Mike Richardson of

Ronnie's cherished friends, Michael and Sunshine Hammersley of Eldorado, Oklahoma, and Tony and Kimberly Willis, also surviving Ronnie are his extended family, Gail Richardson Jones, Harvanel Richardson Walker, Wanda Richardson Black, and Brenda Brothwell as well as numerous other extended family members and friends, will forever hold him dear in their hearts.
