Ronnie Lynn McCuistion, 52, lifelong resident of Olustee, passed away Wednesday April 22, 2009.
Ronnie was born September 2, 1956 in Altus, Oklahoma to Perry and Norma (Welch) McCuistion. He grew up and graduated from Olustee Public Schools. He received his BA Degree from Southwestern University. On April 15, 1989 in Eakley, Oklahoma Ronnie and Denise Yearwood were united in marriage. They made their home in Olustee where they remained for several years. Later, Ronnie and Denise moved to Altus, where Ronnie was employed as a mechanic at Bar-S. he loved hunting and fishing, especially fishing. Even during his illness, he was still plotting ways to get "down to the fishing home."
Ronnie is lovingly survived by his wife, Denise of Altus; a son, Kaden of the home; one daughter, Jordyn, also of the home; his father, Perry McCuistion of Altus; two brothers, Randy McCuistion of New Orleans, LA and Danny McCuistion and wife Elizabeth of Altus; two nieces, Whitny and Chelsea McCuistion also of Altus. He is also survived by his uncles, Bobby Welch and wife Darinda; Donald McCuistion and wife LaVerne; aunts, Patsy Cox and husband Thomas, Virginia Snyder and husband Jack, Betty Bornhiem, Judy Waller, and Barbara Hughes; special friend, Ricky Jackson, and a host of cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his loving mother, Norma.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 2:00 pm at the Olustee Community Church. Local arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
