Rowena Bennett was born April 19, 1925 in Tuttle, Oklahoma. She died February 19, 1999 at her home. She married CH Bennett October 4, 1947 in Altus, Oklahoma. She was a Baptist and long time resident of Altus and Jackson County.

Survivors include her husband CH Bennett of Altus, Oklahoma; three daughters, Jeannie Valone of Freemont, Ohio; Carol Wallace of Blair, Oklahoma, Christie Harris of Oklahoma,City, Oklahoma.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday February 22, 1999 at the Altus Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Lowell-Tims runeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
