Obituary for Roy Clarence Lowell
Roy C. Lowell, age 80, died Wednesday at Valley View Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. A former
resident of the Consolidated #8,

A former resident of the Consolidated #8 community in Kiowa County, he had lived for the past several years at Centrahoma in Coal County. Born February 16th, 1890 in Lancaster County, Nebraska, he came to Oklahoma as a child and settled with his parents in the Lugert area. He was unmarried and farmed in Kiowa County for a number of years. He was a Veteran of World War I.

Services have been set for Saturday, 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Roosevelt, officiated by the pastor, Rev. Bill Gentry. Burial will be in Hobart Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Local survivors include: a brother, Frank C. Lowell, Altus; a nephew, J.C. Lowell; sister-in-law, Mrs. Arch Lowell; a niece, Mrs. Glee Ayres of Roosevelt; a number of nieces and nephews.

The body will lie in state at Lowell Memorial Chapel in Roosevelt Saturday morning prior to service time.
