Obituary for Roy Dan Hall
Mr. Roy Dan Hall, age 79, former resident of Eldorado, died Thursday morning in a Wichita Falls, Texas Hospital.
Memorial services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Friday at the First Baptist Church in Eldorado, officiated by the Reverend Elbert Shumaker. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born February 18, 1893 in Thackerville, Oklahoma, he was married in 1915 to the former Plena Powell. They resided in Eldorado until 1952 when he retired from farming.
Survivors, in addition to his wife of the home in Wichita Falls, include: three sons, Reverend Billy Hall of St. Francis, KS, Maurice Hall of Moore, OK and Johnnie Hall of Ft. Worth; two daughters, Mrs. Naomi Kinsey of Cape Coral, FL and Mrs. Virginia Hendrickson of Clinton, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Della Weddle of Eloy, AZ and Mrs. Bessie Long of Eldorado; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at Lowell-Richardson Memorial Chapel in Eldorado.
