Obituary for Roy Ray Richardson
Mr. Roy R. Richardson, age 74, long time resident of Olustee, died Wednesday at the Quanah Hospital.
Born April 3rd, 1900 at Kingston (Indian Territory), Oklahoma, he had lived in and around the Olustee community all of his life. He was a retired cafe owner.
Funeral services have been set for 10:00 A.M., Friday morning at Lowell Memorial Chapel officiated by the Reverend Noel George. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Survivors include: one son, Leroy Richardson of Pittsburg, CA; three daughters, Roma D. Balenti Zuber and Ruby Jo Blackstone, both of Altus, Oklahoma and Bobby Futrell of Denver, CO; two brothers, Jim Richardson of Hereford, TX and John A. Richardson of Eldorado; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Hill of Morton, TX, Mrs. Amy Dobson of Whitherald, TX, Mrs. Sally Belle Harkins, Mrs. Dolly Cavener, both of Eldorado; two grandchildren.
The family requests contributions to a Medical Research Foundation in lieu of flowers.
